Updated over a week ago

👤 Who is it for?

Administrators (responsible for Deskare configuration and governance)

Steps to follow

  1. Access the admin space

Log in to Deskare and click on Admin Space.

  2. Open the “Advanced roles” section

  3. Review predefined roles

Deskare already provides standard roles (e.g. IT, HR, etc.).

  4. Create a new role

Click on New Role to define a custom one.

  5. Assign permissions

Check or uncheck access to different tabs and features.

Leave blank any sections you don’t want this role to access.

Example: an “HR Administrator” role could have access only to reporting and telework rules.

  6. Save and assign the role
    Save the new role.
Then associate it with the relevant collaborators — each user will inherit only the permissions defined for that role.

View permission details

You can review which permissions have been granted for each authorization.

💡 Best practices

  • Avoid duplicates: only create a custom role if a specific need isn’t covered by existing ones.

  • Regularly review your roles to adjust them as your organization evolves.
