Steps to follow

By default, four statuses are available in your Deskare schedule:

  • At the office: represented by the 🧳 icon

    • When you select this status, you will be asked to reserve a workspace.

  • Remote work: represented by the 🏠 icon

  • Absence: represented by the ⛱️ icon

    • This status is automatically selected if you have declared leave in your HRIS or if it is a public holiday.

    • If this information has not been transferred automatically, you can manually select the Vacation icon.

  • On business trip: represented by the 🎒 icon

    • Used to indicate a professional trip (e.g., client visit, event, etc.).

These statuses may have been customized by your administrator.

To modify your status:

  1. Go to your schedule.

  2. Select the new desired status by clicking on it.

  3. Click Save to confirm.

If the Save button is grayed out, it means your week is already saved.

To edit past days

  1. Contact a Deskare administrator or manager in your organization.
Regular collaborators cannot edit their past declarations themselves.

  2. Request the change for the desired date.
The administrator or manager has access to edit past declarations via Deskare.

  3. Check that your planning has been updated.
Once the update is done, the change will be visible in your interface.

Our support team does not have the rights or permissions to edit your planning if you request it.

💡 Best practices

Make sure to check any constraints related to your internal policy (telework days allowed, mandatory days, etc.) before modifying your statuses.

Frequently asked questions

  • Why can’t I save a status?
This may be due to several reasons:

    • The status does not comply with your telework policy.

    • The status is already saved for that day.

    • A workspace reservation is required for certain statuses (for example, "At the office"). You will need to select a workspace before saving.
