✅ Steps to follow
1. Access the Admin space
Log in to Deskare.
Click on “Administrator” and go to the “Workplace” tab.
2. Select or create a zone
Select an existing office and choose a zone to modify.
Or create a new zone within an existing office.
3. Edit the floor plan
Open the zone settings.
Click on “Edit plan”.
4. Add resources
Click on “New resources” at the top of the screen.
Choose “Desk” or “Village”.
5. Position desks
Click anywhere on the plan to create a desk.
Each click adds another desk.
Use Shift + click to select and move multiple desks.
Then configure: unique number, color, label, access rules (teams/people allowed or excluded), and temporary restrictions.

Draw a shape of your choice (not limited to squares).
Customize text size and content.
Then configure: color, label, access rules (teams/people allowed or excluded), and temporary restrictions.
6. Save changes

Use your company branding colors for better visual consistency.
Place all desks first, then configure them in bulk — it saves time.
Adjust desk size properly: if too small, the user’s photo won’t be clearly visible after booking.
Use the “List resources” button (bottom-left of the screen) to get a table view of all desks and their restrictions.
Avoid re-uploading a floor plan with different dimensions, as it may misalign all previously placed desks and villages.

Can I rename desks with custom codes (e.g. B42)?
No, desks must be numbered simply (1, 2, 3…).
Can two desks share the same number?
No, each desk must have a unique number.
Does changing the floor plan remove existing resources?
No, they remain in place, but their positions might shift if the new plan has different dimensions from the previous one.
How can I view the configuration of a specific desk?
Click the desk → right-hand sidebar → “Rules” section.
Or use “List resources” to see all configurations in a table view.
